Merchants
Merchants are used to sell on VenueRun. In the merchant dashboard you can create products, menus, manage orders, and more.
Merchants use VenueRun to efficiently manage their sales operations. Within the merchant dashboard, they can:
- Create Products and Menus: Easily set up and organize items for sale.
- Creating Modifiers: Add modifiers to products to offer customization options.
- Manage Orders: Handle incoming orders with options for delivery, pickup, table service, self-checkout, tab orders, and tagged orders.
- Pick Up Orders: Customers place orders and pick them up at the designated location.
- Delivery Orders: Customers place orders to be delivered to their specified address.
- Self Check Out Orders: Customers can scan items and pay using their mobile devices for a seamless checkout experience.
- Tab Orders: Customers can keep a running tab and add items throughout their visit, paying at the end.
- Tag Orders - QR/NFC: Customers use QR or NFC tags to place orders, with metadata passed through the URL for dynamic redirection.
- Order Tracker: A comprehensive feature that tracks the status of orders through stages such as Received, Preparing, Ready, and Complete, providing real-time updates and ensuring efficient order management.
Merchants also benefit from real-time tab group ordering. This feature is particularly advantageous for bars, allowing customers to order items directly from their mobile devices while socializing with friends and family. Each order triggers a notification for the merchant to fulfill the item promptly.
Venues
Venues link multiple merchants, offering customers a comprehensive list of available merchants within a specific location. For example, in a hotel and casino setting, the venue might include a restaurant, a bar, and a gift shop.
Each room in the hotel is equipped with QR and/or NFC tags, directing guests to the venue's landing page. From there, guests can access useful information about the venue and easily place orders with any of the linked merchants, thus enhancing convenience and boosting revenue.
